In order to implement the “National Strategy for Activating the Role of Women in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2030” within the framework of the Second High-Level International Conference on the International Decade for Action “Water for Sustainable Development 2018-2028 years» the State Scientific Institution ” Center for the study of glaciers of the National academy of sciences of Tajikistan” will hold a parallel session on the topic “The contribution of women to the study of glaciers” on June 7, 2022 in the Zarandud Hall, Kokhi Somon.The purpose of this event is, first of all, to attract women to the study of glaciers, to develop the knowledge and skills of women to conduct fundamental research, to fulfill the instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Honorable Leader Emomali. Rahmon to declare 2025 the “International Year” of “Protection of Glaciers”, identifying new innovative ways of studying and researching glaciers by women, familiarizing with the achievements of women glaciers “Center for the Study of Glaciers of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan”.
