At the stage of development of our national statehood, in order to promote the state youth policy and create favorable conditions for the development of youth, the entire regulatory and legal framework has been created and a number of sectoral programs are being implemented. Within the framework of these documents and and in accordance with the program of the Second International High-Level Conference on the International Decade for Action “Water for sustainable development, 2018-2028″ the State Scientific Institution “Center for the Study of Glaciers of the Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan” will hold a parallel session on the topic “The role of youth in the study of glaciers” in the Zarandud Hall of  Kokhi Somon palace on June 08, 2022.

The purpose of this event is to actively involve young people in the study of glaciers, improving of their knowledge and skills in conducting of fundamental researches, and present new innovative ways to study glaciers.

OBJECTIVES OF THE CONFERENCE:

Implement the initiatives of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon:

• in support of the young generation of the country and to use their intellectual and physical potential for the sustainable development of the state and society;
• in the field of study, preservation and protection of glaciers in Tajikistan
