National unity is not only the achievement of state independence, but also a universally recognized national idea based on the concepts of freedom, peace and stability. National unity is also the guarantor of the independence, peace and stability of the country. It is a factor of progress in the policies adopted by the leadership of our state; it is like a compass that plays a significant role in the mentality of the Tajik people. On the other hand, the essence of peace and national unity in the conditions of Tajikistan’s independence acquires several new semantic aspects that are common to a secular democratic state.

The dream of unity and unification is one of the most important and valuable gifts, the realization of which has always been an important task for all humanity. “National unity” is that process of interaction where man is needed by man at every moment of his life. For thousands of years, the people of our country have devoted most of their lives to protecting their ancestral lands, culture and language from the invasion of foreigners, the people have always considered National Unity a symbol of the water that remains in their roots and flows in their blood. At all times, the people of Tajikistan have defended their sanctity, keeping a smile on their face and sorrow in their hearts.

Undoubtedly, the independence of every country is determined by its sacred values, such as peace and stability, unity and mutual understanding of society. Fortunately, thanks to the tireless efforts and visionary policies of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the H.E. Emomali Rahmon, new pages were gradually opened for an independent and prosperous Tajikistan in the history of its statehood. This indicates that the implementation of peace and national unity was the beginning of great and generous initiatives on the path of building a democratic and law-based society.

The founder of peace and national unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, honorable Emomali Rahmon notes: “Our national peace is a great and unique achievement in the recent history of our ancient nation. Therefore, every person who considers himself a child of Tajikistan should pay its due to this achievement and consider the strengthening of peace and national unity as his civil mission and sons duty, not to allow it to be violated.

The fruit of peace and national unity, created through the efforts and courage of the hero of Tajikistan, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – the Leader of the Nation H.E. Emomali Rahmon, was the beginning of a democratic, legal and secular state, where the individual, his rights and freedoms have the highest authority. In this regard, each of us is obliged always to protect the value of Tajikistan and the Tajik nation, the foundations of national unity against modern threats in the era of globalization, and at the same time to respect and honor it.

Thanks to the efforts of the head of state, the people have once again united and rebuilt their homeland. The respected Leader of the Nation, the Founder of Peace and National Unity H.E. Emomali Rahmon has repeatedly stressed in his address and speeches that the majority of Tajikistan’s population is consisting of young people, who are the successors of the older generation, the creative force and real potential for the development of society, the future of the nation and the state.
